Tower Clock Kit
When I look at a block of wood and examine the grain structure, I see all the rings in the wood representing the seasons. I can picture in my mind the size of the tree and what it must have looked like. By the ring structure, I can see the location of this piece inside the tree. Some earlier clocks had a dial that rotated instead of the hands. The numbers were readable on the top only. The time was read by a fixed arrow on the top. And still today some dials feature the Roman numerals from the center out, as if the dial still rotates. It is a pity you cannot see the true beauty of this clock in person.
